Full-Time Book Formatter Needed Long-Term

Looking for a full-time and long-term book formatter. Requirements: at least three years of experience in book formatting for amazon kdp using indesign. Kindle reflowable, kindle fixed layout, print versions with bleed and without bleed. The monthly salary is $350 USD, paid biweekly. We are seeking a professional and expert book formatter exclusively for Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. We need a person who will treat this job as a full-time commitment, with daily, prompt communication. We are not seeking individuals looking to make extra money in their free time. Our goal is to expand our formatting business, and we require someone who is highly professional and skilled. As we grow, both the salary and responsibilities will increase. Currently, our primary requirement is standard textbook formatting for both Kindle and paperback versions. Occasionally, we also need formatting for illustrated children's books. We anticipate the need to format up to 30 books each month, including both Kindle and paperback versions. For each paperback version, we expect the formatting to be completed within 24 hours from the time we send the final manuscript. Afterward, we will share it with the client and await feedback to determine if any revisions are necessary. On average, our books contain around 50,000 words, with rare exceptions exceeding 100,000 words. Most of the time they have 0 or less than 10 images, some book might have more than 30 images. We do not require you to incorporate graphics or images; your focus should be solely on professional book formatting. To be considered for this position, you must complete a test. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail who can thoroughly read our instructions and interact with us efficiently and promptly. Phase 1: Please provide three formatting samples: one for fiction 6x9 inches, one for non-fiction 5x8 inches, and one for an illustrated book with an 8.5 x 8.5 inches size with bleed added ready to be approved by kdp. Phase 2: We will send you some text and request a 4/5 page formatting sample for both the kindle and the paperback version. Phase 3: We send a 15 usd offer for one book formatting in both the kindle and the paperback versions. Last phase: we will initiate a three-books trial period during which you will be paid $50 USD for your work.
