Need ashx handler for viewing PDF files or any MS-Office file (Word, Excel, etc). PDF and MS-Office files are stored in same web server where asp.net application is hosted. Path of files: ..(localhost)/Documentos/2660/[login to view URL] The idea of having this ashx viewer is to make those files only accessible through the asp.net web application and after user got authenticated. It is not allowed to get or access those files through http like: - http://MyHost/MyWebapp/Documentos/2660/[login to view URL] or - http://MyHost/MyWebapp/Documentos/2660/[login to view URL] [login to view URL] restricts this kind of access with: <security> <requestFiltering> <hiddenSegments> <add segment="Documentos"/> </hiddenSegments> </requestFiltering> </security> Path of PDF file or Word file should be stored in variable. I attach project example. Language required: VB.Net As usual, all source code is required.
