The project consists of 28 letters and one introduction. (40 pages, about two hours of lecture)
Each letter contains an important lesson than a mature male wants to bequeath to his daughter, but she hasn't born yet.
The tone of the text is poetic, but the actual words develop precise philosophical concepts, sometimes with long sentences.
The main character is more powerful than benign. You most have this present since very sweet words are combined with bold and harsh statements.
The combination of a warm attitude and formal wording must create a powerful sensation of respectful love.
Candidates may send a sample MP3 to our PM (or a link to Dropbox or similar).
Here is the text for the audition. You may submit part or the whole sample.
Everybody with talent welcome.

Introduction
My beloved child:
Looking out over a nameless lake with the forgiving half-light of evening at my back, I sit to write these letters, which you will want to read against similar backdrops.
I will avoid the weakness of believing myself wise, but I will neither feign modesty nor cast a polite shadow of doubt over the most politically incorrect of my convictions.
I will consign to paper the gift of my observations, which one day will serve as a guide when your turn comes to travel similar roads. Even in death, those who have described the same suffering in their books seem to accompany us.
I do not presume to spare you pain, nor to exalt my observations above your own, my sweet child. Only you are in the position to judge your own times. But perhaps upon learning from my most fundamental errors, you may achieve an existence with no more tribulations than those that are strictly necessary.
I am not going to repeat sermons or Psalms, nor will I condemn certain actions as obtuse and certain thoughts as perverse. I will not bore you with platitudes that common sense will dictate of its own accord. No, my child. What I write here is different and powerful. It is the key to self-control, to the manipulation of the gullible and to absolute world domination.
I have taken more pleasure in the mastery of self than that of others, but I will not impose my sickly sentimentalism on you as if it had merit. Nothing I have learned has led me to believe that governing nations is a paltry ambition. True, it is a sport for few, a group of exquisitely frivolous beings who never lose sight of their objectives by allowing themselves to become distracted by those of others.
Dear child, first and foremost, I tell you this:
Do not read in high doses as if you were in a hurry to appropriate this knowledge or that. Only those who lack self-awareness force themselves to read books they do not enjoy simply because others have read them. A book is no better than food: it provides sustenance if one is truly hungry, but provides nutrition only if it is varied. Never envy anyone who has more books than memories. Go out and do everything your heart desires, the only restriction being that you do not risk your chances of living to see tomorrow.
Do not be overly reserved with your body during your youth. I promise that there will be plenty of time for that. Live with a sort of dignity that does not deny you pleasure.
Be modest, but do not waste your time trying to be decent. Modesty is the minimal amount of discretion we maintain in consideration of our sensibilities and those of others. Decency is a moral tool that has been established more to control the masses than to serve the individual.
Learn the rules of the game, not to observe them, but rather to know when to break them. Cheat when it comes to money, as long as no one goes hungry, but never cheat when it comes to the heart. Rules can be twisted, but principles cannot."

Hi there Northern Freedom,
It would be my greatest pleasure to voice your mesmerising script.
In terms of intensity and spirituality the words of your script transcend almost anything I've ever read or V.O'd in the past.
I am certain I can extract the potency of the authors essential moods and thoughts.
I realise this piece of work requires total dedication to convey the essence of its message.
I wish you the best of luck with such an ambitious and edifying project regardless of whether you choose me for further involvement or not.
Kind regards,
Rick Whelan
