~~ Update: Yes, I am fully aware that if the project went ahead that I'd have to snail mail the tape for you to work with ~~ Please be reminded that I am just looking for bids and ideas right now, I currently don't have the funds for this project. So let me know what you think and I'll keep those in mind who sound knowlegable :) I have a bungee jump VHS of me from last summer which is around 10 or so minutes long. I want someone to take the VHS and put it in a computer format (quality must atleast be the same as the original VHS) and I am looking for someone who knows how to edit video. I was wondering if someone could shorten the video (most of it is actually nearly still-frame where nothing is happening, just me on top thinking about jumping (I was too chicken, lol). Basically what I am looking for is someone to take my VHS, put it on a computer (let's not make it require any extra codecs) and make it no longer than 3 minutes long if you can. Main purpose of this is to put it online so other people can download it and not have to download a 10 minute video. I want it to almost look like I jumped right away. And to edit the video, I want it to look like there wasn't editing done, like I said there wasn't much movement in the between times so that shouldn't be hard, right?
