We are keen to build a tiny house (not on wheels) in a partially flat section (34 Aotea Terrace, Huntsbury, Christchurch, New Zealand). [login to view URL] The house will have 2 bedrooms plus a small office. It is desired 1 full bathroom with laundry enclosed. The office might have a small toilet (no shower). We want to incorporate tiny house principles and we have a base model in mind. Prior to getting the section, we were thinking to build a tiny house on wheels and engage the builder attached. See all relevant details on the website [login to view URL] The model we were discussing is the Sophie, being 2 bedrooms upstairs and the office attached to the living room. The kitchen is central, the bathroom on one side and the living room on the opposite side. Originally the house (on wheels) would be 3x9.8m. Now as we are getting the section we are not constrained in the wide and height anymore but are still keen to keep it small. A possible size would be 4x12m + 3x3 office (?). A deck in the front is desired (3x9m).
