Dynamic Association Operations & Admin Aid

CalSHRM is seeking a business management company to provide association business operations, administrative services, and fulfill a service provider role with collaborative responsibilities similar to a Business Operations and Administrative Manager. We seek a professional and well-organized company to provide dynamic, personal, and prompt service to the CalSHRM organization, its partners, and Board. We also require a company that will provide technical expertise in all aspects of association business operations and administration, including but not limited to financial operations (AP,AR, GL, Financials, Reconciliation, Budget administration and maintenance), administrative operations (i.e., email processing, phone system, and education programs administration), general business administration and SHRM reporting (i.e., SCLIF, CLIF, and SHAPE), conference and event management administration and operations (CVENT design, development, and administration), and marketing administration and operations (email marketing, social network postings, schedules and calendars). CalSHRM is seeking a company that will provide general management of the transactional, operational, and administrative duties under the Board’s strategic management direction. The ideal provider must be able to successfully perform operational and administrative functions that allow the board to focus efforts on oversight, strategy, and relationship management, rather than transactional functions. A company that is familiar with the reporting requirements of SHRM and able to meet deadlines set forth by SHRM is preferred. Other duties may be needed as determined by the Board from time to time. The final contract between CalSHRM and the selected organization will delineate expected duties and other terms and conditions of service. The chosen entity will perform services for CalSHRM as a service provider or an independent contractor and will not be engaged in an employment relationship with CalSHRM. CalSHRM is open to proposals that are either a firm, fixed-price contract or an a-la-carte model for all services provided. We prefer a multi-year, base period arrangement with option years and clearly defined termination options.
