Dear engineers,
I am looking for a C# solution for "Active Appearance Model" fitting on human face [figure-1].
The face, eyes, nose and mouth detection is already done using C# on EMGU. I will provide you this environment once the project is awarded to you.
The input to the AAM fitting code will a image pre-marked with a face, eyes, mouth(by a bounding rectangle)[figure-2]. In most cases the location of the nose will be also provided.
The face may be rotated as shown in the figure-3. Hence there should be different AAM initial model which suits for these rotations (in case just one initial model is not sufficient)
The input will be single image and not video sequence. Since this is not for real-time application, computational complexity/duration is not an issue.
A time duration of 2~3 months is okay to achieve the perfection for the project (if you are doing part time work here).
I recommend you to do an initial google research on the existing code for matlab/C++ and refer to it. Usage of opencv through EMGU is also okay.
The most important requirement is the accuracy of fitting for each eye, nose, mouth and face boundary. Also this is the criteria for the completion of the project. I will provide you around 200 images to carry out the test.
