I have made a few virtual machines using virtual box. they run on ubuntu. i wanted to get remote access to the machine running on my main computer so I created a few static IPs and i was only able to access only within my network. I realize that the reason so was because i was using my private IP. So i had a friend go online and access my router and we forwarded them to my public IP and it worked but its unbelievably slow; i can even do anything on the machines cause its so slow. so someone told me that to make it fast it would have to be accessible via "proxy" or VPN. something like that, i'm not too sure this shouldn't take no more and an hour or so to take care of i'm assuming. i would give you access to my computer through ''team viewer" I'm not sure how to fix the speed issue that i'm having. so i need someone here to do it. thanks
