Hi! I can not tell you how excited I became just reading the word 'minimalism'. Let me introduce myself properly, as I get a feeling you would be someone who really reads. I am 30 year old qualified Human Resource professional who left corporate to travel and write. My husband and I are travelling/volunteering for last six months, looking for a place to start setting our eco-village in India. It is a lot more research than people think. We are learning about permaculture, eco-architecture (Earthships to be precise) and other ropes; but mainly about how to live on less. We both take up freelance assignments and make furniture out of scrap (I can send you photos) to get by. Of course, volunteering take care of our food and stay. Right now we are in Bangalore and will be here for an year; with regular trips in the mountains to scout for the perfect place. Thus I will be connected pretty well through broadband.
