I studied some Geology in college. It sounds like earth or "soil" creep. Are there surrounding things outside like walls, fences or trees that look bent? Is there a retaining wall that is damaged or also bent? What is the foundation sitting on? Soil or sand or gravel? There would need to be a way to stop the erosion if that is the case but it is not really enough information to make that determination. Thank You.

I am a geologist and your description is insufficient to identify the problem. It looks like the ground has percolated water which is gradually moving the loose material due to pressure and gravity. Wall itself has weight and if not treated on time, it will collapse. You need to send me a picture of the area and some details of the ground to identify and fix the issue.
