The name of the wesite is GPS Challenge - Global Paddling Sessions Challenge. We are building a website that will bring a community of paddlers together to track and record their best racing times via GPS devices on the site through a forum function. The website will also act as a blog allowing both user created content and website created content to be uploaded to it. The main user group for the site is seen to be Stand Up Paddlers, kayakers, OC racer and surf ski racers. We want the website to be inclusive of all paddlers and reflect the traditional roots of paddling (ie the cave paintings and stick drawings of ancient civilizations who paddled for survival and transport) with the modern feel of using GPS devces and websites to promote interconnectivity. The logo should be fun and simple, not overly fussy, It should be easy to recreate on other mediums (ie Tshirts or outdoor wear). It should reflect the traditional and the modern.
