Graphics / branding / look & feel of iPad app

We currently have an iPad app in development, and we need to work with a graphic designer to "skin" the app, as well as logo development and branding. We need many graphics for the app, including the app icon, several buttons on the inside of the app, as well as several internal components. We will also need a splash screen and a logo for the app, which will also be shown on a related website. It is difficult to provide a specific number of graphics at this time, as the number may change, so more importantly, we are looking for somebody that can be flexible with us on tweaking the overall look and feel of the app so the design ties together with the app's functionality and its branding. Estimated graphics include: Main app icon Main product logo (to be used in app and on website) App splash screen Several internal functional icons / buttons Several interactive objects within the app Backgrounds for various toolbars, tab bars, borders, etc Any others as app design requires We are very open to suggestion on look and feel, but will be very picky on final product. As for payment, we are open to discussion. Obviously, we need to keep the cost down, however we understand your time has value. Therefore, we would consider various terms on payment, depending on how development progresses. For example, perhaps a flat fee for an initial bundle of graphics, and then a per-graphic fee as we continue to tweak the app, etc. Original file work for all graphics in their raw form will be delivered to us (PSD, gimp, Illustrator, etc), with all layering, settings, etc intact. This will allow us to resize, retouch graphics as needed after completion of project. Copyrights for all graphics will be transferred to us upon completion of the project. We will allow artist to display graphic work in their portfolio once app has been released to App Store (but not before). If selected, you will also be given a promo code to receive a copy of the app for free. It is anticipated that this is going to be a VERY popular app, as there is very little competition for it, and it is very innovative in its functionality. It is very easy to use, but tough to master, and has a very high "reuse" value. There will be many add-on components and in-app purchases, so the need for additional graphics work will always be there. Required skills / experience: - Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, etc - Experience with skinning an entire iPad / iPhone app - Portfolio of previous work, which may or may not include iPad / iPhone apps - Fluency in English - Willingness to be flexible and patient on revisions - Able to provide input and opinions on look and feel
