Our company currently owns an online sports contests website which was created as a pilot for the recently played World Cup. The base of the game/contest is rather simple: Try and guess game results, add points according to your correct answers, and by the end of the tournament, whoever has the most points ends as number one against opponents from the same country or a different one. Our website is: [login to view URL] Now we're entering phase 2 of our project and we are ready to extend to different sports as american football (NFL), baseball (MLB), basketball (NBA) and different soccer leagues: Spanih Liga Primera, Italian Lega Calcio, English Premier League, Champions League, Mexican Liga MX, and others. While using the same playing format we wish that players have the opprtunity to win in short period of time (i.e. 1 to 3 days tops) with an entry fee and a prize at the end of each weekend's league. The idea is that during playing time, players can watch how they are doing against other opponents as each one fo the real time sports events is developing. On phase 3, other daily games, such as "Fantasy" games specifically for NFL, MLB, and NBA will be neccesary as well. On these games, contest players choose real life players on their team (9 max) with a salary cap budget, and depending on how they perform in real life, each player makes points. Whoever adds the most points with their players, wins. It can be head-to-head or in a one-week league against a big number of players. Hi, 1. Do you want us to write the full web app from ground up or you want work on the existing site? We prefer starting fresh as it gives full flexibility (depends how large and complex a code base you already have etc) 2. Live update, do you have any API from where to fetch game result and update or you will be updating from admin? 3. Please checkout stripe payments. I think that could be suitable for payment requirements, please check / verify. 4. We've done a similar site (perhaps a lot simpler) where players register and punt on result etc. We've done many complex web applications and the logic or complexity is well within our capability. I am very good at communicating with clients and understanding and solving complex problems. Your spec is good. The job is a contest management database system. It's a simple job but requires effort and attention to detail. I have extensive experience with PHP, Javascript, JQuery, Responsive design, Ajax, CSS3 & mySql. I prefer projects where the clients are ready to go and committed to finishing the project. I do all the work myself and don't subcontract. In my last project, my German client told me his programmer estimated one month for the project. It was a complicated PLC system interfaced with a CSS 3D UI. I quoted 6 days. We finished the project in 10 days due to delays by his programmer. He said I was the first programmer that chased him to finish the project. We need further discussion to confirm if my assumptions are correct, your requirement is met and if your budget and my bid is reasonable. Lets talk more. Initially I would like to use Skype to get to know the client and see if we are comfortable and can communicate well with each other. Thank you for considering my bid.
