Modify an existing Java desktop application to add text screens.

This project requires a Java developer to modify an existing Java desktop application for a verbal quiz game. A YouTube demo video is available here. You can download our existing Easy Quiz from this page on our business website: [login to view URL] ---An online user guide which describes the existing application and operation can be found at [login to view URL] ---This project will add new text screens to display the quiz questions and multiple choice answers instead of verbally reading questions. This new "PLUS" version of Easy Quiz must have two main display elements. --- The CONTROL SCREEN will contain all operator controls for game setup and operation during the quiz. Basically, all the existing program code should reside with the control screen. New operator input of the a,b,c,d,e keys will indicate the player's selected answer choice. ---The new DISPLAY SCREENS are intended for VIEWING ONLY by the players and audience and should be shown on the computer’s extended monitor. No game controls will be on this screen. This will require the user to have an extended monitor connected in order to properly run Easy Quiz PLUS. ---IMPORT capability must be provided to import questions/answers from a tab delimited file (sample attached). The correct answer to each question will be the FIRST shown in the list of multiple choice answers. ---The option to provide for graphics files or sound files as part of the question is also desirable. For graphic files, display the graphic at the same time as the text. For sound files, display the text but wait for operator action to play the sound file. ---With this link you can download Game Show Presenter. This application is retired and now unsupported. I am wanting to enhance Easy Quiz to work in similar fashion to the QUIZATHON game in this app. But Easy Quiz already has many features this game does not. A built in editor for the questions with export capability would be great but could be added as a phase 2 project. Most everything that Easy Quiz currently does is fine, we just need screens for questions and host input of A, B, C, D, E answer choice. Other changes to existing code would be better input of 50 player names and better scrolling display of scores.
