ASP.NET Login Control w/ Ajax features

We need someone to build a login control with similar ease of use and functionality as the ASP.NET 2.0 framework login control. However, we want this control to have an Ajax visual effect of dropping onto a page when a login and/or register URL is clicked. (For a great example, see [login to view URL] and click on their "login" link. Notice how the login box drops down onto the page.) The login control should have: o Functionality similar to the ASP.NET 2.0 framework login control (authentication, consistent look and feel) o Links for Registering and Forgot password (the pages that handle registration and forgotten password should be simply properties on the control) o Functionality enabling a "drop-in" effect such that the control appears to slide onto a page without a server round-trip. o Templated and configurable and CSS friendly so that we can easily change the control's look and feel. This control should be fully configurable for text and style. o Leverage the Microsoft Atlas framework as appropriate for Ajax effects. o Control should be easily dropped onto a ASP.NET page, have it's text and styles configured, links set up, and it just works. Our review of this work suggests that this control is pretty straightforward to build and should be a small and relatively simple project. We have lot's of .NET web development going on right now and successful completion of this project can lead to follow-up work. Proper candidates will have solid and demonstrated experience with: ASP.NET and C# development (ASP.NET 2.0) ASP.NET control development ASP.NET login control and authentication experience Ajax and Microsoft Atlas experience Experience developing generic web controls Confidentiality and professionalism is required.
