I'm looking for an experienced Laravel developer to update the dependencies on a 5-year-old Laravel project Because nobody has touched the code for years, I can't get the composer to install all the dependencies properly without throwing errors. **Project Tasks:** - clоne my laravel project from a private GitHub repository - create a new branch - update all the dependencies so that one can run composer install and launch the app on php 7.4 - update laravel 5.7 to 5.8 - commit - make a PR - make an estimate for a second job which would update Laravel 5.8 to the latest version, so that I can also use it with php 8.2. The upgrade to Laravel 10 is _not_ part of this initial job. I'd prefer to start with a simpler task (described above) and build on that in a later job with the same developer. **Ideal Skills and Experience:** - Profound knowledge in Laravel backend development - Expertise in creating and managing server-side logic - Experience with Laravel's ORM and Eloquent for database interactions - Familiarity with deployment and environment management - A systematic approach to debugging and testing **Communication:** For this project, I lean towards real-time updates and discussions via Whatsapp or Slack. It’s crucial for maintaining the flow of ideas and addressing any hurdles promptly.
