Marketing and PR Manager

LawyerQuote is a high growth company which launched in 2016 and is shaking up the legal industry – you might have read about us in the Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald and other national publications recently. We are the world's first instant legal comparison website (essentially the Webjet of law) and we now have more than 70 law firms throughout Australia on board to meet the demands of clients using our services. We are now looking for a PR and partnership engagement manager to join our team as we scale further. The successful applicant will create and implement a PR strategy to generate further and constant awareness of LawyerQuote Australia wide. You will also identify relevant potential organisations which we could partner with (for example, online real estate businesses), in order to further grow our business. Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role are: 1. Further developing and then implementing the PR strategy, which in the first instance will focus on: (a) Preparing, distributing and ensuring the publication of press releases which are published by high profile media outlets; (b) Identifying and organising opportunities for LawyerQuote and its CEO to be publicised, for example through radio and TV interviews. 2. Identifying and engaging with partners whose clients would be interested in our services with the aim of formalising long-term relationships; 3. Meeting deadlines and managing the budget agreed to with LawyerQuote; 4. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights; 5. Measure and report performance of all PR campaigns and assess against Return on Investment goals agreed with LawyerQuote and the Key Performance Indicators. You will prepare fortnightly reports and participate in the fortnightly team meeting; 6. Provide insight on strategies or tools that may assist the business. Time Commitment 15 hours per week, spread across two days. Remuneration – Trial Period 3 month trial period. Remuneration to be negotiated.
