Hi, I am a C# / .Net developer. I have previously written route planning / scheduling software before and can complete a similar thing for you. The program that I intend to write will have a basic interface for data entry, allowing users to be added / edited / deleted. The information added must include a postcode for routing. The program will then user the Google Maps API to calculate time / distance between each of these locations and then use a modified version of the ACS algorithm to calculate the best route between them. Just a couple of questions though: 1) On the computer that the software will be used, will there be a local MySQL server available to store the data or would it be better off in a standalone DB file? 2) Are customers delivered to every day or is an order entry form required as well? Welcome, This would be my first project but I am sure I can handle this. As far as I understood, You need an application that will sort users and their deliveries by cities, and than provide information about optimized routes, and delivery schedules. I can build a web application that will solve that problem. It can display daily deliveries, history of deliveries, searching user data or display a map. I can also be customized for mobile devices.
