JAVA Quickie problem with MYSQL server/ JDBC

I have done this JAVA Contact Editor that runs on with JSON type file, It works fine and perfectly, but one of few buttons not working on the main screen. I am extremely tired, a fresh pair of eyes may help. Also I would like just a simple help setting up the environment for this so called JDBC or MYSQL server stuffs. Just how to setup the environment especially with my current JAVA program i've done. Really disappointing dew sessions with programmers here, hopefully there is someone whose able to respect and see through the help is much appreciated.
