Convective Heat Loss from a Pipe

I want to function written in C or C++ to numerically compute heat lost from a arbitrate pipe. The model needs to consider a horizontal pipe, with still ambient air and approximate the rate at which the water within the pipe will cool - per unit length of the pipe. A future extension will consider the reduction of the water temperature as it flows along the pipe. One application could be for engineers trying to calculate the heat loss in a water-filled central heating system. I can provide equations and help with maths. Final model must be documented. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)?
