Using the Jabber open source Project, we need to build an IM environment in flash similar to what MM offer with it Flash server communication. The resulting project should have the basic Jabber features and most of FlashComm features. The most important are: - Flash base environment. - Server side scripting (as MM has) - Similar base components of what MM offers: Chat, blackboard, user list, login, video and audio conference, connection ping & bandwidth, etc - Firewall friendly, MM encapsulate its protocol on http and is able to send it thru port 80 so it works with most firewalls. - A flash base component that takes advantage of Jabber multi-IM communication abilities. The goal is to have our own build, inluding al soruce cod, solution that will rival yahoo IM and Webex but being able to use our own flash based programmable environment. Programming language will be C# or Java
