.ASP - DB programming only: Use existing code as template for 2 new similar sites

I am attempting to develop two NEW sites re-using code that exists on a current site that I own. I am not a programmer, but I can do web design. I can't do database programming. Regarding the existing site: It is .ASP. **This is how it works:** My clients complete an online application form and pay for a membership (I currently handle all of that myself, and it can be the same way for the new sites). Then I go online to my own password-protected area, and there is a tool where I can manage all the client info and enter dates, etc. I do need to cut and paste from the original application form on to the form in the SAME form in the password-protected area. I'm not thrilled with that, but that's the way it is. Then when I click "Online," the page is activated and made visible to the outside world on my external web site. The site originally was supposed to alert me when a client's one-year membership was over, but that has never quite worked right. I'd like that fixed in the new similar web sites. It doesn't necessarily have to send me an email, but it should be flagged somehow online so I can see that their membership expired. Currently, it is inconsistent, and I don't know why. When site USERS (not clients) come to the site, they can do the following: See all my clients (each gets a headline) See the clients on a page, sorted by Topic See all clients by category When they find one of my client's "pages," they have the info they need. **SEE "PLATFORM" SECTION FOR SECOND HALF OF THIS DESCRIPTION...** ## Deliverables CONTINUED: **DESCRIPTION, CONTINUED... **SO, I am looking for reasonable quotes for the following: a. Create two new web sites that do nearly exactly the same thing as the existing site I own, with some tweaks to things like: Names of Topics, Names of Categories, and text (I'll do all the writing, it just needs to be changed to be appropriate to the new sites.) I will also do all the web DESIGN and any graphics needed. b. Improve the current programming so that I am alerted when a guest's membership expires. Ideally, having it alert the MEMBER a month before expiration and again at expiration time would be WONDERFUL. c. POSSIBLY create code so that when a CLIENT completes an online application, that information somehow automatically populates the application form that I have in the password-protected area. (So I do not have to manually enter it.) IDEALLY, it would be great if: - the Client had a username and password and could control the page himself/herself -- but I would still need to have control over WHEN or IF the page was activated. (I would probably always need to edit it.) So I'd like a quote WITH and WITHOUT this "Ideal" situation. I may not be able to afford it. My clients pay by PayPal, so I have that go directly to my paypal payment page, so there is no need for any of that to be integrated except as a link. d) There are a few little things that need to be fixed on the CURRENT site -- things like getting rid of references to Y2K and the "information highway" and old terms like that. Maybe add a few new topics. Nothing major -- it's just stuff I can't get to to change. I'd also like the "alert" feature fixed on the current site. LB 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform **PLATFORM**: .ASP, Needs to work on all the current standard browsers and systems, including but not limited to: Windows XP", in all 3.0+ versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape", "Linux."
