We need an experienced coder who can complete a toolbar application for us. The toolbar will install itself (as an .exe or similar) into the user's browser. We need a version for IE and for Firefox. The toolbar will download simple XML from a static server and display alerts in response to URLs that the user visits. For example, if the user types in "[login to view URL]", and in the XML (which is updated periodically) there is a coupon for [login to view URL], then the toolbar will need to flash or indicate this somehow. When the user clicks on it, it will need to display information about the coupon(s). Other similar functionality (which we can describe further on) should be built in as well. There will also be a search bar that is a shortcut to Google/Yahoo/MSFT search. This is a simple example of the information inside this xml file. Basically, we need for the user to be alerted to input a certain coupon coupon (or insert for them), along with the coupon description. Also, our affiliate id needs to be added to each url that we have a store affId for. Depending on what software they're running, the affiliate id is appended in different ways. We would like for an outsider to come up with the correct way of appending each id. FINAL SCHEMA WILL BE DEFINED BY THE PROGRAMMER, XSL IS ALSO FINE EGDKXO 10% off total Purchase affId=124398q21234
