Teach me to ski - asp.net

Teach me to ski is an ASP.net distributed application. It is an online booking and scheduleing system for ski instructors. Users are able to view ski instructor profiles and their availability through a calendar and book multiple slots online. The system is 50% complete but needs some work on the booking, calendar and administrator section. The system is based in Val d'Isere, France and we have data ready for users to start booking. The system needs to be integrated with a merchant account. [login to view URL] ## Deliverables Full scope is available, this is a high level list of requirements: Wireframs to be used as a guide for page functionality **Work to be done for completion of phase 1** **Detail of areas of work to be complete** 1) Calendar / Booking system a. Allowing users to view the instructors availability, click on a date and customise and book that slot. b. Allow instructors to set their availability by using the calendar c. When no instructors available add copy at top of page "No instructors available, you can view instructors profiles to view their availability or use the next day, previous day browse function to see availability" 2) Mobile controls a. Addition of a mobile phone version of the instructors section to include: i. Home page and login ii. View bookings iii. Booking detail 3) Homepage redesign (search and browse) a. Addition of new search criteria b. Addition of view all/browse option for the site c. A browse page with a drop down at the top with names of instructors that then takes to the browse section d. Search results should only show the book button if an instructor is available then e. Search results should show a view profile / availability button. 4) Booking length option and copy to be added to lesson criteria page (depending on complexity tie in with availability (low pri)) Copy should be added to explain this to the user, bare in mind minimum day for mountain guide 5) Cut down profile on completion page and email confirm 6) Retrieval of client details for registration purposes and for addition of booking detail for instructor **Additional updates from Val d'isere meetings** **1) home page - Type of lesson (ski/snowboard etc) needs to be a check box so the search can be performed on both of them.** 2) search results - Instead of next day / prev day it needs to be next seesion and previous session, updating date and session appropriately. 3) Profile page - There is a filed missing. The field that is missing is "Our comments" field where we write an introductory statement about the instructor. This needs to go at the top of the page and should be the first thing the user reads. If room permits I would like to add this to the results pages and its a real overview of the instructor. 4) Profile page - Multiple session booking. The user needs to tally the selected sessions like clicking a check box. Ill draw this into the wireframe so this is clear. When to user proceeds these sessions need to be booked. This also alters the costing factor. 5) Tailor you lesson title needs to change to Lesson details. I will update the wireframe as appropriate. 6) Cost / pricing - We will be charging on a commision basis so the booking fee will be 10% of the total price of the lesson. The lesson price will not alter if there are multiple people in the group, however it will change if there are multiple sessions booked. The system needs to calculate this save the data, calculate the commission and send the comission to pay pal. We no longer want to call it a booking fee - It will be called a Deposit. Copy needs to clearly state that this will be deducted from the total proce of the lesson. 7) Level - The level needs to be added to the booking confirmation page. ? ## Platform Accessable from, explorer, firefox and safari develooped in ASP.net 2 MSSQL database
