Cheques Printing

An Indian company, having accounts with various banks and branches across India, needs a centralized solution for Cheque Printing. Each Branch has accounts with more than one Bank. When the cheques are issued, the company wants them to be printed accessing data from their Centralized Oracle Database. You will be given restricted access to the database. The cheque formats will be different from one another. Hence there shall be a provision to keep individual formats (templates) for each bank and addition of new formats shall be possible, if the company wants to open a new bank account tomorrow. Provision for adding/maintaining cheque book stocks is required. All transactions shall have a maker/checker concept. Work Flow: 1. Cheque Stock is updated when cheque book is received for a particular account. 2. Issuing of cheque book to a party. Select a particular Bank Account and access the necessary details such as Payee, date & amount of the cheque from the database. 3. Cheque Printing : The cheque should be printed on the specific format of that Bank account, on the cheque leaf having the next number. If the cheque is printed successfully, the status is updated in the database with the cheque number. Status could be print success/print failure 4. There should be a provision for bulk printing, if the user wants to do multiple printing. 5. If the cheque is canceled later, the status and reason for cancellation is to be captured & updated. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Java /J2EE.
