I'm looking for ongoing support in the development and maintenance of a browser-based map viewer written in Javascript using the dojo library for its UI and the OpenLayers library for the chart component.

This project is intended to prove the ability of the developer. It covers the production of a series of automated unit tests using the [login to view URL] framework, combined with refactoring the current high level UI code to follow good javascript object orientation.
On completion of the project I'm happy to discuss whether the ongoing work is performed as a series of discrete tasks priced individually via RaC or an ongoing invoicing for effort.
The candidate developer should either have a proven ability in dojo and openlayers, or experience in other similar javascript frameworks. The developer should be familiar with working under svn version control.
The project is being maintained/managed via the [Assembla web site][2]. A screenshot of the current version of the software is [here][1]
## Deliverables
1) Extensions to the OpenLayers automated test suite to test the use cases displayed in bold
[here][3]. More detail on the testing package is available [here][4]
2) The high level application code that connects the UI & chart components is currently in plain javascript. The second part of this project is to refactor this integration source code into tidy object oriented javascript. The object orientation should aim to implement information hiding, use of constructors, and interfaces to hide underlying implementation.
3) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Ongoing changes to be maintained in SVN trunk
4) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):
a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
5) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
