Hi, I have setup exactly the same before with new custom live puppy cdrom distribution and developing of a new web interface to control the peers. If you don't have time for experiments I can tell you that only two ways to have successful compression. a) rbc way b) sbo way, both ways can compress more the G729 codec and not very much the G723.1 codec. Both ways normally are commercial you need to buy them, I have a RBC working solution here, SBO can compress more the g729 but I cannot use it without the commercial license. TrafficSqeezer is something like a CDN and can help to transfer the audio data via a faster path, you can use separate a CDN with rbc-asterisk or use the SBO that they has CDN too. There are various ways to do that that you want, you need to choose one of the ways.
