Website software for photographer. We need to develop website software for photographer. He wants to have a website where 2 kinds of customers will connect: 1) Subscription customers with monthly/yearly subscriptions who will have the ability to download all images in full quality. 2) One-off customers who want to see their photos (e.g. from their wedding) and view thumbnails of the photos in low-res and decide which to download. These should have a free amount of photos to download in hi-res, but when they exceed a limit they should be able to download photos by charging their credit card. Also they must be able to choose if the photos will be downloaded or if they prefer to order prints of the photos to be delivered to them (also mix and match, let's say one who has 100 photos to download freely can choose 70 to download, 20 to be printed and shipped in 10x15cm format and 10 to be printed and shipped in 20x30cm format) and 10 more that exceed his/her free limit to be charged in his/her credit card. Also keep in mind that photos need to be uploaded to the system via a console where the photographer will be able to put various tags in each photo (as in title, event, details etc.). Also a mass upload must be supported by the system. The photos themselves must not be imported in the database, but just a link to a filesystem (Windows NTFS), The database must keep the link along with the details of each photo. A search must be supported with all the tags and the filename. A mass rename function can be supported, e.g. by using the title of the photo and an auto number for each imported photo. This project must be decided on a specific carefully planned basis (time and budget) so if you are interested we must work closely on the analysis to make this concrete. 1st year support for bugs and troubleshooting is expected as warranty. ## Deliverables The project can be based on open source solutions (as Joomla or other CMS, PHP, MySQL). You don't have to write everything from scratch. But I need your opinion on that. Is this a good idea for commercial software, or should we choose .Net? 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). After the project is delivered I will need you to provide 1 year tech support for free (as a warranty), just for bugs and troubleshooting (not for changes or upgrades) and then yearly support (in the form of software upgrades) for which you will be paid an agreed sum of money. ## Platform PHP, MySQL, Joomla, CMS, .NET, Windows 2003/XP/Vista, Unix/Linux, open source libraries/solutions
