We require someone to write a custom query and module for us from our Drupal 6.X website that calls up certain fields from content (i.e. nodes) from specific content types (we are using CCK module) and then uses the fields to create an XML document acccording to Google's specifications for Google News Sitemap.
The fields we need to call are:
page title
page URL location
keywords (from Meta Tags module)
Date of post published in Article publication date in [W3C format][1]
XML document would look like this:
<urlset xmlns="[login to view URL]<wbr />/sitemap/0.9"
xmlns:news="[login to view URL]<wbr />/sitemap-news/0.9">
<url>
<loc>[login to view URL]<wbr />[login to view URL]</loc>
<news:news>
<news:publication_date>2006-08<wbr />-17T03:19:00Z</news:publication<wbr />_date>
<news:keywords>Sports, Baseball</news:keywords>
</news:news>
</url>
</urlset>
Note:
We are using the Views module and the URL-friendly modules.
If you can build this using views that is fine. The end product will be a module that we can use on our website.
