Home Automation System using ZigBee and Gateway as a Raspberry Pi.

The main purpose is to access and control home appliances from anywhere. The gateway sends data serially to Master ZigBee, it will broadcast it. The End ZigBee receives that data which is send serially to controller. The appliances which are already interfaced with controller work on respective receive data and sends acknowledgement. The Raspberry Pi which is a mobile SoC. First step is to port an OS on to it. To access and control appliances create a Web-Server Application using the python and HTML. Python and its modules are used to configure the Serial Communication, Real time application and Web Server on Raspberry Pi and HTML to create a GUI. To control the Speed and Intensity of Appliances we have interfaced the P89v51RD2 µC, Zero crossing detector circuit and Firing angle Control circuit with the electrical appliances. Run an Application using IP and Port number and on click listener on Button or Image, the server will serially transmit data to ZigBee. ZigBee is one type of Wireless Communication so it will broadcast and End ZigBee receives that data. The End ZigBee serially transmits data to controller and the appliances response on respective data.
