OCR Project

We currently file invoice copies from clients that contain signatures for receipt of products. Every invoice has a unique number at the top of the page in a particular zone. We would like to scan these in batch and have a very nice multi function printer/scanner that can save in either a pdf ot tiff format. What we need is an indexing application that will use some sort of OCR product or sdk to do the following; 1. Locate the invoice number on the scanned document. 2. Index the document by the invoice number for viewing. 3. Provide a method for selecting the invoice for viewing and then a window to actually view the document. 4. Potentially we may want to print the image or email to a client. We are willing to purchase a 3rd party product if necessary to handle the OCR part of the equation but we would like an application that would do the indexing. Potentially we may want to index the invoice date and customer name as options for each document. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform windows
