Hello there, Expert php knowledge needed. Please consider to avoid bidding if your php skills could do with brushing up. Advanced php skills required for the job. I am in the process of creating a video site that can be viewed here: [login to view URL]~aliceco1/home-2/ Here's what I require doing: At present my theme displays 5-10 boxes on the home page known as 'Portfolios'. These can be found in the dashboard of Wordpress entitled 'Portfolios'. What I wish for, is to DO AWAY with Portfolios completely. What is required is to enable POSTS to appear in boxes on the homepage, so that any of the posts I post in Wordpress can be selected to appear in a box on the homepage. This may require altering the theme to some extent. When clicking on any post in 'Archives' all post links should direct to a video player page where a post can be viewed, for example: [login to view URL]~aliceco1/portfolio/defective/ (Note: This is displaying a 'portfolio' not a post). NOTE: At present on a video player page we are seeing a video from a 'Portfolio' not a post. Below 'Next up' we are seeing 4 portfolios displayed on a slider of multi portfolios. These are to be changed so that Posts are viewable on a slider. On a page where 'Latest Posts' are displayed (for example in 'Contacts' or 'Get Involved'), when clicking on the post here, one should also be directed to a video player page for that post. When conducting a 'Search' for a post it should take us to a video player page for that post. Looking forward to hearing from you...

Hi! All these are mods to the theme actually, rather than "may require slight modification of the theme". So "take off" the portfolio post type completely, or leave it in, but allow the same functionality for native wp posts? From what I see, currently, teh archive posts list only regular wp posts, and not include teh portfolio post type posts at all. It will load all posts on teh portfolio single page template regardless whether there's actually a playable media in the post or not? On teh sigle portfolio page, the "Up next" list in teh bottom. I see the container has class="list_carousel", but there's no slider movement aparent on teh page. Does this theme has a slider support, which may not be working for some reason, or the slider is something that's to be added completely? And lastly, about the "search-to-player" part. You mean that if the results of a search is a single post it should load teh "play" single post page directly, or that the links on teh search results should navigate to the portfolio single page (with teh above "post" changes applied, of course) as with the archive pages after the modification? Kind Regards, Dobri PS: This is not something doable in 3, or even 5 hours, as at least 2 will go to examine and study the theme, so nothing "gives way" due to the mods, but it's doable withinn a day. You have posted it as hourly project, so we're not allowed to make a flat rate offer, so regardless of the actual hours involved.

We will make Custom post types so that you can publish your contents as posts not portfolio. About the search, if some one searching for a post and that post has video then it will go to that video page. As keyword will read the Text not Video. Or we can make the Video title searchable. Hi Aliceon, Good day! To clarify, you want that the "post" should have the same ability as what your "portfolio" page template has? Right now, the portfolio page-template shows video + description + link to the video? I would assume that you want that this same functionality to your posts? As for the "Next Up" where you'd like the post to be in a slider. I would assume you want this as a carousel? As to show which posts, I would assume to pull post from category related to the post currently being viewed? or you have something else in mind?
