Modify a Wordpress theme

I bought a Wordpress theme online that was designed for hotel business. My business is a equipment distributor so i need the theme and templates to be changed a bit. Here is my website : [login to view URL] This is the template i bought : [login to view URL] Here are the changes i would like to make : - Clean-up the theme : the theme has room booking functionality with date pickers that i will never need. We can get rid of these. If its too complicated and would make the price too high, we can skip this step. - I want a 'Products' category that would hold series of products *see attached file "overview". - If i click on the products menu tab. I should view a list of available series with a thumbnail for each series. - When i click on the 'view more' button of a series, then i arrive on a page with 3 columns grid display of all of this series' products. - When i click on a product in the grid, a arrive in this products description with pictures. - I want a facebook like button on every product and also other buttons like tweeter or whatever. - Product should have a Name, Description - like post content, Price, Picture. I'm very new to Wordpress but according to what i read, i think a custom-post-type should be the way to go. Maybe it can be done in a simpler way. - I should be able to display or not the price tag for all products or for single products. Maybe some of these tasks can be achieved easily with the existing theme but since i'm new to Wordpress, i just don't know how i works. So instead of programming, i would appreciate that you guide me in doing this the simplest and most effective way. All i can't do with existing theme and templates should be coded.
