Do you know LSD-SLAM? If not you should ;). LSD-SLAM is open source [login to view URL] and it is really famous in the Computer Vision community right now. The LSD-SLAM is separated in lsd_slam_core and lsd_slam_viewer. lsd_slam_viewer is the visualization for the lsd_slam_core. I need the feature to generate a video of from the lsd_slam_viewer visualization. So, I'm asking you to find a way to generate a video. There must be maybe some way already with: [login to view URL] but it isn't documented ... or there might be some code missing. Whatever the case, it is not possible to generate a video when using the lsd_slam_viewer by pressing some button. So I'm asking to do the following task: * Make a extension to the lsd_slam_viewer: By pressing some button a video should be generated which records and shows the trajectory from the first keyframe to the last keyframe.

We are team of robotics engineer expert in using ROS. We have recently applied visual SLAM algorithms on a differential robot available in our lab. ORB SLAM which is stereo based slam in which we did the patch up work as it has some issues running on ubuntu 14.04 and ROS indigo. We are confident in solving this issue once given the task.
