php laravel to enhance an existing Shooping Bags Pickup & Delivery

Introduction: Butlr is designed to make the shopping experience lighter and more hands free. When a customer shops at a shopping center or in a shopping mall and ends up with a lot of shopping bags in hand, the customer often would want the bags to be sent to his/her car or home. Some customers want to have a Butler escorting them from door to door whilst shopping and have the Butler take the bags to the car. This is where [login to view URL] comes in. A service that would allow a customer request this service from any store at the shopping mall. Prototyping and Proof of Concept: A prototype has already been built and published at [login to view URL] (staging server) and includes setting up stores, generating qrcodes for the stores, defining service types along with pricing, and a basic form for customers to register for the service. Platform: The platform uses MySQL database with triggers and stored procedures. The Dashboard and Customer’s Service Registration Form uses PHP/Laravel 7. The staging website [login to view URL] is hosted in a Microsoft Azure VM and the Source Codes are stored in GitHub. In Addition, an auto code deployment pipeline has been established between GitHub and the Staging Servcer using Jenkins. This way, everytime a code is committed and pushed to GitHub, it will automatically be deployed. Requirements Going Forward? Phase 1: 1. UI and Logic Enhancement and the completion of the Customer’s Landing Page where registration for the service begins. Enhancements include a better fit and responsive form, OTP to validate phone number, Payment Gateway integration, and scanning of shopping bags. 2. QR in High definition and Downloadable for printing to be added to the Dashboard. 3. Butler CRUD and management 4. Security QR Code Inventory Management. This is where the QR Codes for the Shopping Bag Seals are pre-registered in the system so that as customers scan we can validate if these are valid QR Codes or not. 5. Orders CRUD and handling 6. Butler / Orders Assignment automation – this will first be built manually, by allowing admin auto assign an order to a Butler. At a laster stage, we will write an intelligent cron job to trigger once an order comes through and auto assigns it to a butler. 7. Payment and SMS Gateway integration including checking out and callback webhooks. 8. User Management, including User access management, Roles, Permissions and Roles, Permissions Matrix. Phase 2: 1. Firebase Integration, Pusher Integration. 2. Write the API’s for the Android application to be used by the Butler. 3. Produce the Butler’s Android Application which will receive a push notification upon new order assignment, and queues the request. Through the app, the butler is tracked every step of the way using Geo Location when necessary, or, specific touchpoints defined in the application, i.e. received the order, on the way to the store, arrived store, picked up bags, on the way to customer’s car, on the way to customer’s home, in the warehouse, awaiting at the parking gate, with Valet Parking, inside the customer’s car, at customer’s home, etc. The butler will often take pictures as proof every step of the way.
