Particularly I would recommend erlang VM code since it has a low memory footprint which makes it ideal for embedded systems. I would suggest Elixir with Phoenix framework as technology chosen, but I can do it as well in Scala with Play framework or in PHP or in node. Hello, I have used the Raspberry Pi for many projects including home automation, small website hosting, media center, video surveillance and many others. I'm also an experienced Python developer and Linux user. For this project I would build a web application using Python (as it is well supported on the Pi) and Tornado web framework (because it is lightweight and has good performance).
