Script to Scrape PDF Data

We are looking for a custom web solution that will be able to "scrape" data from a series of PDF documents (typically construction drawings). Please see the attached for a sample of the format. Here are some key functions/workflow ideas: 1) User selects multiple files to upload (BONUS: If a multi-page document is uploaded, give option to split into separate pages) 2) An interface is presented that allows the user to "map" where the data is located on the set of documents (i.e. "Highlight the Page Number", "Highlight the Document Title", "Highlight the Date", "Highlight the Revision Number", etc.) -- This is a necessity because each architect we work with will have a different drawing identification format. They should typically match within a particular set of drawings. But different sets will have different layouts. 3) Once the files are uploaded, a database record is created for each PDF file containing the information gathered as well as a link to the file itself. 4) User is given the opportunity to review each record to make sure the data scraping worked successfully.
