I need an application that my clients can install in their Shopify stores that goes and consults an API about the shipping costs of their order.
This api will return the available curriers with their shipping costs in JSON format.
On the store administrator's side, admin will be able to add a shipping address as a sender: street, number, phone, company, city, state and postal code.
The consumer will add their products to the shopping cart and when entering the shipping data with their postal code, the app that you will develop will consult the API who will return the information on the available curriers.
To calculate the shipping cost, the products in the store must have the weight of each product as a required field.
This way, at checkout we can know the total shipping weight.
