The Physics course at the University of Coimbra
includes the subjects of "Computers and Programming",
"Computational Physics", "Mathematical Methods for Physics"
all of these are mathematical models oriented and
also have a lot of learning to build effective algorithms
and programming.
I have a Masters Degree in Physics with a Specialization
in Nuclear and Particle Physics where I had the chance to
solve a system of seven nonlinear equations from which data
was extracted to solve another system of two also nonlinear
differential equations. The solution to this problem
was conceived and executed in a programming language
called Fortran in its 77 and 90 versions in tandem
with a calculation paralelization technique designed
in Linux with shell script and several programs from
that operating system.
This work was extended, which resulted in publishing
a paper and a conference.
I worked at the Software Engineering Departament
of the University of Coimbra where I debugged
and developed a smartphone app that
uses JSON, neural networks and smartphone sensors.
As a hobby I programmed a smartphone app that
guesses the incidence matrix from
sums of the rows and columns of that matrix.
Also as an hobby I am programming machine learning algorithms.
All my "official" text is formatted in LATEX.
I have more than 10 years experience tutoring in Physics and Mathematics.
