Hereford Cycle Track - Project Manager

Halo Leisure has secured £1,500,000 of fuinding to build a cycle track and associated facilties at Hereford Leisure Centre (HR49UD). The main aim of the project is to increase opportunities for cycling in Hereford and the surrounding communities. The facility will include 1) A closed circuit track of one kilometre which will have varying options to create smaller loops and sections. 2) There will be additional challenging features such as rumble strips, cobbled sections and varying cambers and inclines. Inside the circuit there will be additional skills areas for cyclists to develop further cycling skills. 3) A dedicated space for pre-school children to start their cycle skill learning which will incorporate elements of play to ensure they retain the element of fun. 4) A cycle hub to facilitate toilets, catering, bike hire, sotrage and repairs.
