Research: Find the 10 most well-known Fantasy Characters, including images and summary description

I need research to be done, as the basis for some 3D games. I need you to find me the 10 most well-known Fantasy Characters (Gandalf, ... Excluding "traditional" comic characters, Marvel, DC, ...), and describe them, so that I can have 3D models of them made. Please specify the sources/lists you used to decide which subject to research. There is probably no statistically meaningful data on "well-known", so I leave it to your best judgment. What is important, is that they are well known and graphically recognizable. The description must include the name, the source (name of the TV, film, comic, computer game, whatever), a summary description of their personality, abilities, best friends, worst enemy, pets, ..., and several (about 10) images that gives a complete view of them. In particular, since I want to create 3D models, I need images covering all angles, so front, both sides, back, and if possible top too, as well as a close up from the face. A few other images, showing different poses, would help too. Most subjects should come from different sources. By that I mean different "stories", not just different websites. The research is not limited to "heroes"; the "bad guys" are also OK. I have currently created several research projects, and I am likely to both widen, and deepen those research in the future, depending on the results of the initial researches. ## Deliverables The summary textual description should be enough to give someone an idea of who they are, if they had never heard to them. And also links to other related characters that might come up in this, or another research. The summary should also include links to websites with more details info. As the produced content will probably be displayed on the web, the summary should either not be copyrighted (written by you), or should allow the free reproduction, for the purpose of free display on the web, including by commercial entities. If copying third party text, please specify the source, and eventually copyright notice, in the form of URLs, so that the copyrights can be checked. It is important that I can freely link to those images. They do not have to be originals; good "fan art" would also qualify, as long as it gives a good idea of the looks, and I can legally link to it. The research must include a list of links to the page(s) where the images we found. Those links must be permanent links that point to the source, and not be temporary links produced by a search engine. Links to some short videos, if available, would be appreciated. For the research, you will create a public Pinterest board and pin the images in it, using the name of the individual research subject (abc1, abc2, ...). The reason for using Pinterest is that Pinterest itself has agreements with many sites, and prevents the use of images against the author's will in many cases. So by putting them in a Pinterest board, you can prove that it is possible to link to them from a third-party site. I need the URL for the boards, and for the individual pictures too, so I don't hae to extract them from Pinterest. I expect you to submit the least of subjects you want to research in advance, to make sure there is no overlap with some other research I am ordering.
