Hello there. I am have a Masters in Business and I am a freelance caterer and native English speaker. I have been catering for some 7 years to date and during this time I have conducted a wide variety of research for my own business, including recipes, trends, ingredients, potential clients and markets and so-on. I create menus and shopping lists for my clients, across all social spectrums so I am very used to sourcing, researching and comparing food products. As well as the catering I do language work in English (copywriting, proofreading, translating and report-writing). I have recently completed my PhD research in Computer Science from La Trobe University, Melbourne. The main focus of research was based on requirements gathering and analysis, specification and validation, and manages requirements throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) using the combination of AGILE and Waterfall methodologies. Experience in marketing, experience in internet search, culinary tourism professional, foodie, food blog follower

I can write fiction and non-fiction and I won a fellowship for teaching in graduate school at the University of Memphis some years ago. I received my MFA in writing with honors after having taught writing and basic English and language use during this time. It's usually quite evident when a writer excels in a certain niche. Mine are several, and food and food trends, honestly, are right up there at the top. I am already watching and am quite aware of trends across the U.S., because it just plain fascinating to me. I follow all the news about GMO, Monsanto, and the health awareness of the American public--wheat, the gluten fad, paleo-food popularity, etc. I am also very aware of new trends toward Asian, Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. I also finished an AWAI course for writers and artists on in-depth research techniques on the web, so I could also bring that skill to the table.
