A freelancer with strong math skill is needed to write a class in C#. This class is for solving absolute joint angles of a generic robot arm. Included with these requirements is an image pulled from Google to aid understanding. A basic mathematical model of a robot arm will be created. The model will be of a common design, utilizing 6 rotational joints. This project will limit the solution to a small segment of the arms total space. Constraints, together with limited area will be made to ensure a solution is possible. Please see attachments for details.

Applications using Windows Forms. 2.3. Game code using XNA Framework 4.0. 2.4. Game code using DirectX 9 Managed. 2.5. Game scripting using Unity 3D. 2.6. Finite-state machine (FSM) algorithms. 2.7. A* space search algorithm. 2.8. Textures, backgrounds and low-poly 3D models. 3. ABOUT YOUR PROJECT 3.1. Your project is very interesting and somewhat in my area of expertise. As a game programmer, I'm used to working with matrices, vectors, angles and transformations from one coordinate system to another. 3.2. I intend to start working at this project before you award it. This way, you'll find out if I can do it and it will save time. However, this doesn't put any obligation on you, since you can award the project to whoever you want even if I previously did some work at it. To begin, though, I need some more info: 3.3. The coordinate systems are left-handed or right-handed? 3.4. Which axis is up in the fixed (real) space coordinate system? 3.5. You mentioned angles as defining the object's orientation. What is the rotation order and around which axes? 3.6. For each joint angle, I need to know where is the 0 and where is the maximum. 3.7. Some dimensional examples and joint ranges would be useful. I am an expert in Robotics and vision. A few years ago I implemented a 6R robot simulator in C++ (MS Visual Studio). I also implemented a 3P cartesian robot simulator. In my project not also the robot could be controlled by a user interface but also there were a possibility of controlling it by vision using its 3D graphical environment (I used DirectX). My thesis was related to these topics. I will accomplish this project in a great order.
