As a Data Analyst you are responsible for triaging product and business problems as they come up. In many cases, these problems surface through key metric dashboards. The purpose of this exercise is to give you an opportunity to demonstrate structured thinking and ability to analyze datasets and make recommendations to solve problems. The problem Helium 10 is a platform that Amazon sellers can use to thrive / grow their market. You can use the free version/extension to explore data on the site. You will be using helium10 for the analysis and solving four problems, · How do Helium 10 features drive user growth, revenue and retention? Tip: You can take a few features like Keyword search, and walkthrough the details. · If Helium 10’s monthly revenue is declining, what could be the possible reasons? What measures / metrics would you be looking at, for example, the number of engaged users each week. What does engagement mean? What events would you measure? You are responsible for recommending solutions for the problem. · Create and prioritize feature roadmap to increase monthly recurring revenue · Define key metrics you would constantly monitor to identify continuous improvement opportunities and measure success. · Tip: Make assumptions for tables like Users (with accounts), Events, etc. and use the video to run the extension and use some of the tools to gather data. Making a recommendation Start to work your way through your list of hypotheses to determine the source of the drop in engagement. Your presentation should not have more than 10-15 slides of content, and the presentation itself should only take ~30 minutes.
