I am working on a statistics project for my Lifeguard Department and was wondering if you could help me? I am looking into factors that predict the Department's rescue numbers for the summer of 2017, to better forecast and prepare for the summer of 2018. I was able to run a correlation analysis with factors that affect rescue numbers; such as: beach attendance, wave height, tides, etc. My goal is to be able to take this statistics project to the next step and forecast the likelihood of the amount of rescues that we will have in a given day in summer. I was hoping to be able to use the r square correlation results, input x variables (such as beach crowd, day of the week, etc.) and find a likelihood for the amount of rescues that we will have. Do you know how I would be able to go about something like this? I can send you my data set, regression sheet with each factor and what ever else you need.
