Stripe Integration and Feature Management

Project Functional Document: Stripe Integration and Feature Management Project Overview: We are developing a web application offering various features to users. To streamline payment processing, we intend to integrate Stripe into our system. We require assistance from a freelancer to configure the Stripe integration. Our goal is to allow users to activate/deactivate specific features, which will impact pricing. Invoices will be issued at the end of each month, calculated based on the volume of users and the selected features. Feature Pricing Structure (example): Users will have the option to select from the following features, each priced per worker per month: Goals Module: €5.00 per worker per month Academy Module: €7.00 per worker per month Blog Module: €2.00 per worker per month For example, if Company X has activated the Goals and Academy modules and has 250 workers in March, the invoice cost will be calculated as follows: 250 workers x (€5.00 + €7.00) = €3,000 Feature Management: Clients should have the flexibility to cancel their subscription at any time and adjust their selected features. Any changes made to features will be prorated for the subsequent invoice. Furthermore, whenever there are changes to the selected features or if the service is canceled, a webhook will be triggered to notify the necessary stakeholders. The invoice price should be calculated based on the number of users we have in our application; we will send that quantity to you through an API service as you instruct. Stripe Integration Requirement: It is imperative that all feature management and payment processing functionalities are handled directly through Stripe. We do not require any changes to be made within our application, except for adding a link to the Stripe gateway. This ensures seamless user experience and centralized management of all financial transactions. Invoice Visibility: We aim to provide users with visibility into their generated invoices, allowing them to track their expenses accurately. Requirements for the Freelancer: Configure Stripe integration within our web application (URL). Implement feature management functionality, including activation/deactivation and prorating. Develop webhook triggers for feature changes and service cancellations. Enable invoice visibility for users within the application interface. Timeline and Deliverables: Deliverables include documented configurations, webhook implementation, and invoice visibility functionality.
