Hi, Please check book.ly. It uses AMAZON MARKETPLACE API to pull comparative prices from multiple stores on Amazon. We have worked with Amazon APIs before. We suggest user module which allows signing up using Facebook. This way they can quickly share the site link with their friends and on their wall. If there's possibility of increasing the budget, there are plenty awesome features I can suggest which will make it really good virtual marketplace for Books.
