Metadata files of interest have the expected suffix JPG, GIF, WAV, etc Files with suffix JS, CSS etc (that are used by the html for different purposes as metadata) should be ignored. List lstMeta is created (and destroyed) by the calling application. The function should return 0 for success and negative values for possible errors
