Help a small organization upgrade its software inventory we have a number of purchased software that we have not upgrade for at least 3- years. They are software COTS (off the shelves) that we purchased licenses for.....example, SQL, ABBYY, Textpad...etc After so many years, we decided it's time to do inventory and decide what to upgrade etc. Before we can proceed, we need help researching and document the impact on the organization for each application. Hi, I have some scanned TIF image files with text which need to be converted to Excel in a set format. A total of 1300 images (could be more so i might select more than 1 bidder). I have tried doing OCR with Acrobat and ABBYY but the results are not very good. You are welcome to try any method but I need 100% accuracy. I will not pay more than USD $0.04 per image (4 cents). I am aware of the many programs out there that have the capability to convert pdfs into .xls. Abbyy and Omnipage to name a few, but none of them function with 100% accuracy over time. Is it possible to have a program written specifically for pdfs made from excel sheets that will revert them back to the orignial format (not concerned with forumlas). For example data that came from J22 to revert back to J22. or at the very least always revert back to K18 or anything with consistancy. I have 2500 forms in Abbyy Reader which I need verfied. That means the vendor has have a copy og Abbyy FormReader on their machine, and will download my zip file. The, they have to make sure all pages are correct, in that :it's oriented correctly and all hand-written entries and being interperetted correctly by the scanner. Need to conduct ASAP. ## Deliverables All batch files must contain 100% verified documents which are correct for delivery to our Customer. ## Platform Windows XP. We are looking for a gui interface where we can take scanned pdf or tif copies of a phone book and turn that into a 3 collumn database containing name, address and phone number with minimal loss of data. We require a VB.NET developer to integrate a ICR/OCR module into one of our installed products. We are integrating the ABBYY OCR/ICR engine and need someone to design, build and integrate the user interface using the ABBYY toolkit. Please contact us with details of your experience in this area. The project involves OCR of tiff files. The softwares to the used are: 1. Abbyy fine reader 8.0 version 2. PDF generator program like Distiller 3. Prefilght for checking the PDF Volume is about 1 million characters per day. The average characters per page is 2000. Accuracy required is 99.5%. There are extensive guidelines for the project. I need a tool/DLL developed in one of the good OCR engines (eg. Abbyy OCR engine) to take in 1 to many colour jpg files, recognise the text (always in English) then output a csv file with the word and coordinates(left,top,height,width), for each file.
