I need someone who is an expert in Arduino to help me with some simple details in parsing incoming serial data sequentially and using it to trigger functions.

The Arduino will Control a NEMA motor. The Motor will be used to operate a retractable backdrop. The backdrop is a metal rod with a fabric wrapped around. The backdrop is mounted horizontally. The backdrop will vary from 6ft to 10ft wide and the fabric that is wrapped around it will drop between 6ft to 10ft. Therefore the weight of the backdrop will vary based on size. A weight will be attached to the bottom of the backdrop to ensure than it drops down fully. This needs to be factored into the power the motor needs to deliver when the backdrop is released and when it retracts. The device will be used multiple times a day so it must be safe to operate and should not break down (I.e no burnet fuses, capacitors etc). Hi There, I got two Adadruit RFM69HCW arduinos. These are arduinos with packet radios. One Arduino acts as a transmitter, sending a signal to the receiver about state of a button. Also there is a voltage divider on this board, and I connected Li-ion 2000 mah batterry to it. I would like to read the battery level and send it to the receiver. The receiver has one OLED display that shows the battery level and status of connection. It has one NC circuit that controls a transistor or a relay. So when you push the button on the transmitter it opens the NC circuit on the receiver, also providing the information to receiver about the battery level and connection status. That's all.

I need help finding a microcontroller that can record audio. I have tackled this problem with an arduino but the sample rate is super low. And I been been using a Electret Mic + MAX9814 Amp I would really like to start using some type of mems microphone instead but every time I look into recording audio and micro controllers I can only find arduino projects. Any help on finding a popular microcontroller that will record audio at a high quality rate easily would be appreciated. Side note I would like for it to either record to an sd card or to have enough on board storage to record for roughly an hour.
